Kalle

Like many of our dogs’ stories – Kalle’s story started out of pure luck in the summer of 2021. One of the workers at the refuge saw 2 small boys with a plastic bag on the way to the river. After asking what was inside of this bag, they revealed 5 small puppies squeezed in the bag, only a month old. The boys then proceeded to detail what they were planning to do to these puppies: drown them in the river. Out of pure luck we bumped into these boys and managed to save these poor puppies lives.

Kalle and his siblings have since grown up with us in the refuge- and Kalle is such a character! He is very protective of his sisters (being the only boy in the litter) and is extremely bonded and loving with them. He is also very friendly with other dogs and very respectful. Since Kalle was a puppy – he was a volunteer favourite. From his funny playing antics with other dogs, to his utter attention seeking with people, to his hilarious sleeping positions – it’s impossible to not have a smile on your face when your around him. He seems to work his way into the hearts of everyone he is around, and we know he will continue to do so in his forever home.

Will you be the lucky person to call Kalle yours?
