Maisy

Maisy was originally one of our „Taggy dogs“ in Chefchaouen – apart of our TNVR program where we tag, neuter, vaccinate, treat and then release each dog back to their territory. Back then we had to – unfortunately – remove one of her eyes additionally to doing all the enumerated other things.
In October 2021, the authorities in Chefchaouen decided to deal with the problem of stray dogs by deporting them violently from Chefchaouen to remote locations with no access to food nor water. During this time, we managed to save some of our taggy dogs, like Maisy, from deportation and give them a chance at a new life.
