Paddy was originally one of our „Taggy dogs“ in Chefchaouen- apart of our TNVR program where we tag, neuter, vaccinate, treat and then release each dog back to their territory.
In October 2021, the authorities in Chefchaouen decided to deal with the problem of stray dogs by deporting them violently from Chefchaouen to remote locations with no access to food nor water. During this time, we managed to save some of our taggy dogs, like Paddy, from deportation and give them a chance at a new life.
Paddy has an old fracture in the back of his leg, that’s why he isn’t using his back leg fully. But that doesn’t make him any less special and less adorable.
