Oscar was rescued in may 2021.
One day, someone called us for help for two puppies who were both victims of an act of violence. Oscar and Luna, who were living on the streets of Chefchaouen, were kicked by a resident, both suffering broken hips at only 3 months old. Thankfully, their fractures have healed well, leaving behind „only“ a fear of humans.
Oscar had already been protecting his sister Luna on the streets. To this day, he remains distrustful of new people but is remarkably friendly with familiar caregivers. Oscar has been through a lot and may snap when cornered, but he haven´t lost all trust in humans; when he gains trust then he enjoys affection. He is a smaller medium-sized dog with black fur and devilishly pointed ears. He gets along well with other dogs and doesn´t have any problems to make new friends. She knows his good side and hopes he gets a chance at a loving home. Oscar is initially wary of men, so a woman would make a great first caregiver for him.
Oscar was born around February 2021. We’re looking for a dog-experienced, calm home that can provide him with the security he needs.
